Package Overview

Your journey begins with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Pharping, the starting point of the hike. From here, the trail gradually climbs through dense pine, oak, and rhododendron forests, offering a refreshing walk surrounded by nature. Along the route, you'll pass small shrines, colorful prayer flags, and quiet forest paths that create a peaceful hiking experience.
After several hours of steady ascent, you'll reach the summit of Champadevi (2,285 meters), where a small Hindu shrine marks the hilltop. On clear days, hikers are rewarded with spectacular panoramic views of Kathmandu Valley and the Himalayan ranges, including Langtang, Gaurishankar, Ganesh Himal, and Dorje Lakpa.
After spending time enjoying the scenery and relaxing at the summit, the hike descends along the same trail back to Pharping before returning to Kathmandu by private vehicle.

DAY1
Champadevi Day Hike

Your Champadevi Day Hike begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Kathmandu, followed by a scenic one-hour drive to Hattiban, the starting point of the trek. Accompanied by an experienced guide, you'll hike through peaceful pine and rhododendron forests, passing beautiful natural landscapes and enjoying occasional views of the Kathmandu Valley. After approximately 2.5–3 hours, you'll reach the Champadevi summit (2,285 m), where you can visit the sacred Champadevi Temple, relax, capture stunning photographs, and admire panoramic views of the valley and surrounding Himalayan peaks on clear days. After a packed lunch or refreshments at the summit, you'll descend along the same trail back to Hattiban before driving to Kathmandu, arriving at your hotel in the late afternoon with unforgettable memories of a rewarding day in nature.
